Izebrand de Boer

Izebrand de Boer (1965) studied at the Prince Claus Conservatoire in Groningen with Reinier Hogerheyde from 1983 - 1990. He graduated his master studies with a special remark for his virtuosity. He continued his studies at the Conservatoire of Amsterdam, where he specialized in chamber music. He received lessons from Gervase de Peyer and Michel Arrignon. After his studies Izebrand has specialized in playing the e flat- and bass clarinet. 

Izebrand has a lot of experience performing in orchestras such as the Noord Nederlands Orkest, the Filharmonie Noord, the Noord-Nederlands Blazersensemble and various other ensembles. He performed in countries such as France, Germany and South Africa. He currently works as a clarinet teacher and ensemble coach at Kunstbedrijven Westerkwartier.
