Jesse Wienke

Jesse Wienke (2002) studied classical piano with Nata Tsvereli at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen, where he completed his bachelor’s degree cum laude. He is currently also pursuing his master’s degree in Groningen. He also studies harpsichord with Johan Hofmann and received fortepiano lessons from Paul Komen.

In 2022, Jesse received the 1st prize during the regional finals of the Princess Christina Competition. He also received the ABN AMRO Mees Pierson Prize. He followed masterclasses with Ralph van Raat, Nino Gvetadze and Thomas Beijer, among others.

He has given concerts on various stages, including the small hall of De Oosterpoort, Stadsschouwburg De Harmonie in Leeuwarden, De MuziekHaven in Zaandam and during the Aurora Festival. He was also allowed to play in the YPF Young Virtuosi series in De Duif in Amsterdam and he could be heard during the Evening Concert on NPO Klassiek.
