Faraz Forouzandeh

Faraz Forouzandeh was born in Tehran and began playing the piano at the age of eight with Arpine Israelyan. In 2015, he moved to Germany to study piano pedagogy at the University of the Arts Bremen with Prof. Patrick O’Byrne and Martin von der Heydt, where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in 2019.

In parallel, he completed training in piano physiology with Laurent Boullet in Berlin. He then pursued his Master’s degree in Music and Mediation (major: Piano) at the University of Music Münster in the class of Prof. Clemens Rave.

He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Piano Performance at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen in the class of Nata Tsvereli. In addition, he continues to receive artistic guidance and coaching from the composer Christoph Keller. Further artistic inspiration came from masterclasses with Pablo Galdo, Alan Fraser, and László Gyimesi.

In 2019, he performed as a soloist with the Bremer Philharmoniker under the direction of Elias Grandy.

As a pedagogue, he has taught at music schools in Tehran, Bremen, Hamburg, and Emden. He is currently working as a piano teacher at the Musikschule des Landkreises Diepholz.
