Daniel Seeger
Daniel Seeger (*1997) received his first piano lessons at the age of five and later also took violin and percussion lessons before becoming an organ student in 2012 under KMD Helmut Brand at the Stadtkirche in Tuttlingen. Two years later, he was admitted as a junior student to the organ classes of Prof. Stefan Johannes Bleicher and Mario Hospach-Martini at the State University of Music in Trossingen.
Since 2016, he has been studying organ at the Berlin University of the Arts with Prof. Leo van Doeselaar and Prof. Erwin Wiersinga, as well as church music. Masterclasses with Arvid Gast, Martin Schmeding, Theo Jellema, Paolo Crivellaro, Baptiste-Florian Marle-Ouvrard, and others have complemented his studies.
Daniel is not only an organist but also a church and chamber musician. He serves as a church music assistant at the Catholic parish church of St. Louis in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, where he carries out extensive musical duties. He also performs with soloists and chamber music ensembles as an organist, pianist, continuo player, and choir accompanist. His particular personal passion is concert organ performance.
In competitions such as Jugend musiziert (organ, piano, chamber music), those organized by the German Musicians’ Association, and the competition for liturgical organ playing of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Württemberg, he has demonstrated his musical abilities and has been awarded numerous prizes.
