Afonso Santos

Portuguese tenor Afonso Santos, is a young and versatile talent, primarily focused on the Bel Canto and early 19th century operatic repertoire.
Currently enrolled in a masters degree program in classical voice at Codarts university for the arts, Studying with the renowned Dutch tenor Marcel Reijans, Afonso is a promising young artist who has also worked under the umbrella of many other accomplished singers, such as Elisabete Matos, and Oreste Cosimo.
In March of 2025 he expanded his repertoire catalog once more, performing Mozart's Requiem with Dordtissimo's foundation, as well as in may becoming a member of the DNO young baroque voices, and performing in their co-production of Dido and Aeneas, alongside Reisopera and Opera Zuid.
