Prins Claus Conservatorium, Groningen
21 July at 12:30 hour
When the young Mélanie Prouvost takes her entrance exam for the conservatory, she is distracted at a crucial moment when one of the jury members—a famous pianist—starts signing autographs. Years later, Mélanie gains the trust of that very pianist and is allowed to turn the pages of the sheet music during concerts. This psychological thriller draws on clichés from the horror genre. It is also a film about the darker sides of making music at the highest level—the stress and the jealousy.
