The music of Ludovico Einaudi has gained a huge audience over the past decade. Many new music lovers of all ages have fallen en masse for his accessible and beautiful piano music. Less well known is his music for other instruments, which we are also pleased to present at this concert. In addition, we want to introduce the audience to the music of Arvo Pärt, Fazıl Say, and Philip Glass—composers who, like Einaudi, create a powerful impact on listeners with seemingly simple pieces.
